About this product
Our clear shampoo base concentrate gives you a clear concentrate you dilute to your own viscosity and strength. It is formulated in-house and made in our GMP-certified unit, so every batch pours, foams and thickens the same way.
What you can make
- Herbal and anti-dandruff shampoos
- Keratin or protein shampoos
- Private-label salon shampoos
How to use
- Dilute 1 part base with 1 - 2 parts distilled water or hydrosol, then adjust thickness with a pinch of salt.
- Warm gently (not above 45 °C) if you need faster mixing.
- Add fragrance oil up to 2% or essential oil up to 1%; pre-mix with a little solubiliser for clear bases.
- Stir in actives, extracts or colour, then rest the batch for 12 hours so bubbles rise out.
- Bottle into clean, dry PET or HDPE bottles and label with the ingredient list.
Store below 30 °C, tightly closed. A slight haze in cold weather is normal and clears on warming.
