About this product
Our lime essential oil is obtained from the fruit peel of Citrus aurantifolia and has a crisp, tart citrus aroma. Makers use it for summer body care and fresh room sprays. Every lot is checked for identity and purity before it is packed in amber bottles.
Recommended usage
- Melt and pour soap: 0.5 - 1% of base weight
- Liquid bases (shampoo, body wash): up to 1%
- Face oils and serums: 0.5 - 1% in a carrier oil
- Body and hair oils: 1 - 2% in a carrier oil
- Diffuser: 3 - 5 drops in water
Safety
Always dilute before skin use and patch test first. Citrus oils can be photosensitising on leave-on products - avoid sun exposure for 12 hours after use. Keep away from eyes and children; consult a doctor before use during pregnancy.
Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place to protect the aroma.
