Our litsea cubeba essential oil is obtained from the berries of Litsea cubeba and has a sweet lemon-sherbet aroma. Makers use it for citrus blends that hold better in soap than lemon. Every lot is checked for identity and purity before it is packed in amber bottles.
Recommended usage
- Melt and pour soap: 0.5 - 1% of base weight
- Liquid bases (shampoo, body wash): up to 1%
- Face oils and serums: 0.5 - 1% in a carrier oil
- Body and hair oils: 1 - 2% in a carrier oil
- Diffuser: 3 - 5 drops in water
Safety
Always dilute before skin use and patch test first. Keep away from eyes and children; consult a doctor before use during pregnancy.
Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place to protect the aroma.
