Micas give shimmer, and liquid soap colours give clear, even colour to transparent bases. All colours are cosmetic grade and skin safe at the recommended rates.

Mix micas with a little isopropyl alcohol or glycerin before adding them to melted base to avoid specks.

How much colour should I use in soap?

Start with 2 - 3 drops of liquid colour or 1/4 teaspoon of mica per kilo of base and add more until you like the shade.
